im thinking about the light blue for my boat as well...now that someone else has done it im not scared to break from the fleet!! is the boot stripe the standard GW stripe moved down to the waterline??

Nice looking color and I agree that the boot stripe really highlights it.

I might suggest that you consider bringing the darker bottom paint up to follow the hard chine forward. This will eliminate the "tri-color" look at the bow and, more importantly, protect that bow area above the usual waterline from the "brown moustache" stain that seems to accumulate there.

I had our Islander bottom painted "straight" as you do, but changed it to follow the chine after about a year.

I noticed that the boat is in Jersey, where are you located? I have the same hull, but that blue is sure nice! I'd love to see it if it's still here. Thanks

Thanks for the comments guys!!! Love the boat so far, already had it 60 miles offshore for bluefin and currently planning a canyon trip when the weather decides to cooperate
