Can anyone suggest a scenic day cruise in the between woodbridge, va and colonial beach, va? What are some good places to stop? Any sandy beaches that we can bring the boat to? Restaurants with a dock?

Another good spot to stop at is Gilligans, just NW of the 301 Bridge on the Maryland side of the river.

Old thread here but are there any members in the southern maryland (Potomac) area? We have a 2004 Grady 330 Express and run the Potomac (DC-Colonial Beach) area - home port is Port Tobacco.

Tim's II at Fairview Beach, then Port Tobacco, then Gilligans. Machodoc Creek Marina has plans to open a restaurant, hopefully open Spring of 2019. Then hit the Swan Point Lagoon, (No Restaurant or pier, but a nice hang out spot), then Dockside@ Colonial Beach, Captain Johns or ScuttleButt @ Cobb Island, then Fitzies (near St Clements). One thing I like about the Potomac, you are never more than 20 minutes from a cold beer and a hot meal!

We have a 2009 330 Express, currently at Colonial Yacht center, holler net time you are out!

Cool - one of/if not our favorite rides is Port Tobacco to CB Dockside! Will have name on back before she goes back in "Running on Empty" i am sure we will run into each other. we go by Gilligan's a lot during the season...

Looking forward meeting you and chatting. Stu-Jacq is currently in D20 at Dockside, at least until April. Hoping 2019 is a little better year for boating than 2018 was.
