I'm in the process of mounting Taco 380 bases and Bly carbon fiber outriggers on a new Marlin. I have the 3.5 degree wedges but when I try to use them it seems to throw the alignment of the bases off. My question is can I just skip the wedges? Anyone else install t-top mounted outriggers w/o the wedges?

Thanks.

I used the 7.5 degree wedges if my memory is correct. There is a roll off on the hardtop, but it probably would be fine without them.

I just went through this with my 330. I called Grady and they suggested the 7.5 wedges. I ordered them offline and had no issues with the install.
