I have 2 cabin lights not working. Bulbs are good. I tested the socket with a volt meter and read 12 volts. The lights in the head and spot light over the bunk both work. Has anyone run into this problem?

-- Misdiagnosed the bulbs
-- Read your meter wrong
-- Corrosion on bulb or base contacts (but the meter probes poked through it)
-- Failing wiring/corrosion can allow voltage to read properly, yet not pass enough amperage to light the bulbs

See above. Use a contact cleaner for electrical circuits. Buy new bulbs and give it a whirl . You could pull down the socket and inspect the wire connections.

test the socket on and off - ensure the voltage comes/goes.
lightly sand connection points (bulb and socket).
install new bulb.
once they work, put in some dielectric grease used on auto lamps sold by auto stores to mitigate corrosion.

I've found this situation several times on boats and autos...

Thx for the input. I did find the problem. Bad switches...I bought new ones and that fixed the problem.
