2000 Grady White Marlin with 2013 Repower. I also added the following in 2012-2013 - New Bottom Paint, Had a Custom Trailer from Sport Trail Built (I store it indoors), All New Garmin Electronics, New Upholstery - Inside and Out, New Cabin Lighting, Completely Rebuilt the Generator, Replaced all Fuel Lines, AC Lines, LW Lines/Fittings/etc., Added Transom Rod Holders, Added New Transom Shower, Added Fusion Sound System with AMP, Added Blue LED's in Cockpit and Under Hard Top, Added New Spreaders (Bow and Cockpit). For Christmas, I'm going to add SeaDek Teak/Holly to the Cabin and Replace the Refrigerator and Microwave. I think the only thing left to replace will be the hull

Reeljoy2,

I also have a 2000 Grady White Marlin that I'm considering re-powering. I'm on Lake Ontario in Rochester, NY and this kind of re-power is not very common up here. I'm actually taking a hard look at the Honda 250 hp because they do not need to re-drill the transom because they're on 26" centers. PM me when you get a chance as I'd like to find out more about the process and cost.... Nice job on fixing up the Marlin. Mine has been great for the past 4 years I've owned her.

Good Fishing,

John

Honey Do, are you referring to one of the rods on my boat? While I do have a couple of fly rods on board, none of them are pictured. What you might be seeing is a South African reel called a scarbara which we use for bottom fishing. There is no gearing and no drag, just direct line on and off spool. A real challenge with a big fish!

One thing is for sure it dosen't matter how old a grady is they are all beautiful boats and look like they are one with the sea. Thank you Grady :goodjob ...
I just bought my first Grady today which i have been looking for for two years. People are reluctant to let go of their Grady's especially out on the west coast of the USA and Pacific Northwest.. I will be posting a pix of mine in two weeks! Yahoo

That's a great looking 209!. How was it this year in SD, what type of boating/fishing do you do out there ? I just purchased a brand new Fisherman-209 with the Yamaha 200. It's great to see the same or very similar Grady models from previous years and how well they age. Nice boat!
