    Boat Mover

Two guys, a big dually with an extra 100 gallon tank in the bed, the truck full of fast food wrappers... They probably drove straight through

Holy cow I had no idea; thanks for the great explanation!

    Pulling Dredges on a 330

Why & when do you pull a dredge? Is this something common to the East Coast?

    Boat Mover

I used U-Ship; make sure you torque the trailer wheels before they set off as they'll cannonball the delivery (they get paid on delivery). I purchased a 29' Grady on the East Coast and they arrived in California 2 days later...

Beware of this case of credit card fraud.

Agreed; it's simply the modern equivalent of a con artist

    Trailering

Oil changes are approx $250 (So Cal) but I take it to my mechanic as opposed to the joints using salad oil, I want to ensure I have the best lubricants. The shop also changes the filters and water separator. That being said, it doesn't need tune ups so as mentioned it probably evens out. What...

    Sea Keeper Ride

There's a YouTuber 'Out on the 'Reef' who installed the Ride on his pilothouse; whereas he tends to repeat himself he did a great job with the videos and details the installation. If you have recessed trim tab pockets on your transom apparently they need to be filled so flat transoms are ideal...

A Must Watch For GW Owners

He's doing these (or AI is creating them) on a number of brands; I'll take a Grady any day!

Beware of this case of credit card fraud.

It's not that no one cares, the issue is the sheer number of scam sites popping up, and many are AI-generated

I tow with a Ford F250 diesel, other than oil changes I'm not sure what you mean by 'expensive to maintain'?

    GW Tournament 225 research

Hello all, I sold my Sailfish and am looking for something smaller, I like the size and features of the 2003-2008 Tournament 225. Unfortunately they're all on the East Coast so it looks like I'll have a long tow home. Do they have electronic shift, or was that an option? I can't find anything...

Adding a full swim platform to a 2005 Grady 225 Tournament

I'm looking for a Tournament 225, but none on the West Coast :( Have you considered having a platform made from Stainless? If the mold for the fiberglass one no longer exists, It would be fairly simple to fabricate the frame and you could even add teak slats to reduce the glare and add a...

    Upholstery paint

On my 282 Sailfish, the top of the cushioned pad that surrounds the cockpit has weathered in the California sun. Instead of being off-white it's now a peculiar Tuna barf yellow. SEM makes really good upholstery paint, especially if you use their primer, but I don't know the color. Anybody know...

Deck drain inserts - where to find replacement part?

Vince, I recall a prior thread, search for cockpit drain, someone found an elegant solution. The only issue is you need to remove the drain (underneath the cockpit) and apparently the Port ones are a misery to replace due to the location of the aft sink.

    Old bottom paint removal

I went down to my local yard with pretty much the same questions, they said they use a chemical stripper (where was she when I was in college?) instead of media blasting because it's gentler on the hull and fairly quick - they roll it on and let it work. I have no idea if it's faster or not...
