Montauk fluke season winding down,sept. 15th, but they are on the feed. We caught over a dozen 4-7.25 lb. on the south side west of the lighthouse in 65ft. of water. On the same drift we had many keeper seabass with a 4lb. and a 5.1 lb. Stripers were very slow. Blues good.

Four boats sailed from Westlake Monday and all came back with a mix of 30-50 lb yellows and 20-40 lb albacore. Those boats that pot hoped also had many mahi.General area was 50 miles south and a little west from the lighthouse. some numbers I heard were 43500-43400, 14620-14660. Good luck

Porgy fishing remains hot on a moving tide. I got a surprise with a 12.25 weakfish. Pulled hard and long on 10lb. test'. Tuesday looks like last great day on the water for a while. KAZOO

I fished Gardners sunday with a friend and caught are limit of porgy from 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 lbs. You have to use clam chum. 3/4 of a pail was enough for our success.
