Here's where I got mine 4 years ago. Still solid and looks like new. I bought the 5 tube under slung rocket launcher.

Of course you have to pick your days, but I have been 60-65 miles offshore from OC Maryland fishing the canyons with 4 guys, gear, ice, etc. Ran out, trolled all day and ran back in and still had plenty gas in reserve. I have Twin 200 HP Yammies.
I have a 2011 with twin 200s and have no problem trolling at 2 kts or less. Just turn one engine off and lower the trim tabs. (or instead or turning the engine off, just place it in neutral so the engine hours stay the same) Switch off between the two engines now and then. Those 4 strokes...
Congrats on the new boat. I have that same model and I'm up in Cypress Creek. I have twin 200's 4 strokes and it sits low in the water also. I have never had a problem - even offshore with how the water creeps up on take off.
SlimJim - I went with the Lewmar Horizontal and it worked perfectly for 4 years until I traded in the boat.
DennisG01 - It's not that the locker isn't deep enough (hell you could hide a body in there) It's that with the Verticle Windlass the rode comes around the gypsy and falls into the...
SlimJim,
I'll let the others argue quality while I'll argue verticle vs horizontal on a 330. I had a 330 with a verticle windlass installed in the factory at delivery. It was a constant pain in the ass. There is not suffient verticle clearance inside the rope locker to allow the rode to fall...
I had the exact same issue on my 2006 330. I did find the culprit. If you lay down on your back in the aft cabin with your head to the port side. Directly above your head you will see an access plate with 4-6 screws. Remove the plate and tighten the connection to the fresh water hose under the...
John,
Been there many times myself. Just smile and wave...smile and wave. You know there is a bit of jealousy in their hearts. (and a bit of ignorance)
I had the same problem. I went out and purchased a 33# "Claw" Anchor. With only 12' of chain I have never had it not grab the first time. These anchors are great in almost any bottom condition. Plus you are not over paying for some fancy overpriced anchor. I sold my Lewmar Delta used for a...
Capt Swag,
I feel your pain. I too had a crack in the headliner of my 30 Grady. It was less than a year old and they fixed it no questions asked. But, your expectations of "Customer Service" are out of line. You lay up a boat and don't use it for 10 years then expect the manufacturer to fix...
I not only use Salt-Away to flush the engines, I use it to hose down the entire boat including my fishing rods and reels. It sure does make a difference especially after those offshore runs.
I spray it over the entire boat, wait a few minutes then rinse. All the salt residue goes away and it...

Sure do. I had mine replaced. After calling Grady I got the following information for the correct vinyl.
Call the Wise Co at 843-426-2125
Upholstery Color - Voyager Soft Sand
The material was about $50. I took it to a local marine vinyl shop and they charged me $100 to finish the job.
