I know it's a old thread but what prop did you end up with? I have the same boat with 2006 3.3 f225 ,hard top, 48 gallon bait tank currently with a 17p Yamaha SWSII and best cruise is 4700 rpm at 27.5 kt 2.1 mpg. And i can stay on plane down to 17kt or so.Looking to improve the mpg part along...

The reason I think there are nuts behind them is because they spin when I turn them. Alo the over head electronics box has the same hinges with a different stopping angle and are through bolted with nuts on the back side

Yes but the nuts on the backside of those screws are hidden in between the plastic dash trim and the fiberglass. Looks like you need to cut the caulk bead and remove the plastic dash completely to access the nuts. Am I wrong?

I agree that ideally I would drive out and haul back but you are right. $3500 is a no brainer. The drivers can usually get paid to haul a load each way so it makes sense. With current gas prices I would jump on 3.5k in a heart beat.

Good looking out! The one in Boston looks clean and if I were closer I would pick it up today . 30k is steep for a blown engine boat with out a hard top but someone will eventually pay it or at least come close. That is what we are up against here in Ca.
