    SecondWind, did you ever re-prop with the 4 blades? I have an '06 282 with '06 F250's and want to re-prop with 4 blade powertech's. I was wondering if you pulled the trigger and if so your thoughts, performance....

    Sorry, I just saw this somehow. But yes, I did reprop with OSF4 17P with cushion lock hubs.

    Performance is excellent. Boat will jump out the water and tracks really well in following seas. Lost a little top end but the trade off was worth it.

    The 250's and 4-blade props are night and day from the 200 hpdi with 3 blades - it's really what a boat that size needs imo
