Sounds like a challenge. Give Yamaha a call, maybe they have additional info or perhaps a parts kit.

Problem solved. The recall for the sticky bushings in the verticle throttle linkage is what it ended up being. The originally bushings were in it when I took it apart. With the new bushing it is alot smoother an the engine goes back to neutral allowing me to shift. The part number for the new bushing kit is 90891-40455. I bought two kits so I could also do the starboard motor an it has the new bushings installed. Kinda strange that they didnt do both of them when they did the starboard motor.
