Hi all, do any 208 owners have pictures they can share of their helm station with electronics. I have one and am looking for ideas on where to mount fishfinder, but etc. I do not have the hardtop. Thanks in advance.

Same as without cover on, they have cutouts . I know the guy that owns this boat we are both Sydney game fishing club members, that boat is just kike brand new hence the high asking price.

My current set up. I need to move the vhf and fishfinder. The fishfinder is in the locker below the gauges. Not those units though, I'll buy new electronics. I'm thinking maybe a ram mount above the gauges but I'd like to see what others have done.

Sdffish, I removed the plastic cover on the electrical box.cut out a piece of starboard to match the plastic cover then flush mounted two 7 inch gps. Put that back on hinges, so now have flush mounted gps and still have access to the box for storage, manuals paper charts etc. Could forward some pics when I get home in a couple of weeks. Cheers trapper

What year 208? GW changed the opening and made it bigger in 2000 or 2001.
Here are some pics of both the smaller (97-99 dash opening) as well as the redesigned bigger opening.
As I recall, I had to remove the instrument panel and work from the top down when I was installing the VHF and GPS in the older boat...it was easier that way.

Didn't have to. '97s and '98s had the darker color. From '99 on GW painted the dash the same almond color as the gelcoat.
