Hello, I have a 1990 GW 25’ Sailfish. I have the gunwale faucet, and am wondering how your faucet pump gets it’s power...the manual looks like it goes to the battery. Is there a switch on the panel that turns the pump on or is there a switch that is supposed to be right near the faucet? I have the pump and the faucet, but can’t seem to trace the wires back and looks like some of them have been cut. The hoses are all still there, just need to figure out this wiring situation but have had no luck

Thanks for the help

Just a guess but I would assume it is wired to an accessory fuse block somewhere in your cockpit area. The newer boats are faucet pressure activated which are controlled by rocker switch on the cockpit panel labeled fresh water.

That was my guess as well. Running back to the gunwale switch or where the switch would be, there’s a black wire which I tested negative, an orange positive, and an orange negative. Makes no sense to have ground wires running back towards a single on/off switch. The whole things very odd. I did find a fuse for it on the block labeled water pressure. Just can’t figure out the wiring now

Maybe it is wired like a light switch in the home. The power line runs to the switch and through the switch to the pump. The ground would be continuous to the pump , thus the two orange wires.
