252 Sailfish- Has anyone found a decent window knob replacement for your cabin side slide windows? I was going to just put a RV knob in but the original screw has a washer type thing just under the head which fits snugly in the hole within the glass. If I don’t have any luck here, I’ll try to fabricate one but hopefully somebody has found a replacement that works

Yeah, yeah, me too...

Well I fabricated one, I’ll attach the pictures. Came out much better than expected, and materials only cost me around $20 off eBay. I did a stainless steel screw, then painted a cap black which is the only part I wasn’t thrilled about, then a 1/4” ID rubber washer to seal around the window hole on the outside, then a plastic spaced the same size which goes in the glass hole, then a washer on the inside with knob. Thought the insides of the knobs I bought were threaded but they weren’t so I had to throw a washer in it to tighten it down.
