yes. It will run find at low RPM and then cut out on and off at high RPM if you have a dirty VST Filter. That filter is inside the VST tank and is on the high speed pump.

Yes, pass. Tons of good deals out there and this winter will be a huge buyers market. You are in the worse part of the season to buy. Not many buyers out there unless its a steal of a deal. I would wait. Keep looking, it will only get better.

i am happy for you!! You will love the Yamaha 225 hp 4 strokes! I had them on my other GW and loved that engine. Did you sell your twin HPDI'S? Let us know how they work out. I am sure you will love them.

I disagree, a 2 micron filter with racors and a bowl will work better on a HPDI engine then a 10 micron filter. It depends on the engine.

there is a thread somewhere in GG that give the dates and info on it. I can't find it but I am sure someone will. I think it was changed over in the mid 90's. I am sure anything in the 2000 was green.

the VST Filter on the 4 stroke is different and I don't think it has the fine 2 micron screens like the HPDI one has. The gasket is 1/2 the price as well, I don't know why as its looks about the same.??
