Oldest 232 Gulfstream owner with original fuel tanks ?

Without seeing any actual pictures of the tanks or anything else on the boat in general... what I would do if you buy the boat is to replace the things that are in bad shape, like the fuel lines or anything else that can be easily fixed. You could likely run it that way for at least a couple...

    New Batteries

I had something similar, albeit on a smaller Grady White 228 Seafarer last year when I went to start up the boat in the early summer after having replaced both batteries the previous fall. Something happened to where I pushed the trim/tilt button on the motor, it went all the way up and then put...

8 original hours on 2008 GW and Yamaha 200 questions

Well... I found the boat that you're looking at and imo the price isn't even in the ballpark for what you're getting. Even with the boat only having 8 hours on the motor. I think I'd personally spend half the money, get a boat with a few more hours on it, as well as a bit more usage out of it...

8 original hours on 2008 GW and Yamaha 200 questions

I guess I'm confused... so you sold your 2006 GW 228 Seafarer last summer to then buy a 2008? Or is this a different model of Grady? Also, you didn't mention your experience in terms of if you have any mechanical knowledge with working on boats, cars or whatnot. Whether you do or not, there's...

    300 with 2 mfd

Listen to Harrysea and athomp228, they actually know what they're talking about. Even if you dropped the screens down as far as you could, you won't have enough room to fit two 16” screens in there.

    300 with 2 mfd

The below linked boat is for sale on Boat Trader, of which it has twin Garmin 1243xsv's on it that are each 12.1" wide and total 24.2" wide without any spacing between the two units. The Garmin 8616xsv on the other hand is 15.1" wide and to where two of them without any gaps would be 30.2"...

360 Grady Express Powered with twin 350's

A bit more information is needed here as your post is kind of vague, but I'm guessing what you're really wanting to know is in regards to the top end speed and whether twin F350's will be underpowered or not? The second thing, and maybe this is an assumption on my part, but I'm assuming that...

    Hard Top Wanted

Yikes, sounds as though someone has a case of the Monday's and/or is a Chiefs fan. The fact of the matter remains that if someone wants the original style of hardtop for their boat and their current boat doesn't have one, buying another boat with one, robbing the hardtop off of it and then...

    Hard Top Wanted

Ask Norcoastal about his experience looking for a hardtop. I believe he was looking for one for over a year before he got tired and just ordered something local or online. A few things would help out tremendously here, like your location, your budget and so forth. I think your quickest and...

    Transom thru hole

I'd replace the ones that you currently have with the style that Diad linked. They have the set screw holding the rubber flapper in place and are a bit easier to replace just the flapper as opposed to having to pull the entire thing off just to replace them.
