    Thru-Hull location help?

Wow! The transducer you have looks just like the one I really want which is the B275HLW! Do you have any issues with cavitation of your outboards at all? Looks like they are tucked nicely between the two strainers! As for the A/C no need for it here on the Central West Coast. Maybe Ill just cap...

    Towing a 282 Sailfish

One more recomendation for safety is change from the surge brake system to an electric over hydraulic. it has and immediate response and allows the trailer to do its own breaking.

    Thru-Hull location help?

So a little further investigation reveled that the third hole is a Dometic A/C intake! Yeah go figure someone needed A/C in the cabin of a 265. So I think my new plan will be to rip out the A/C. Then move the Livewell intake to the starboard side in the A/C hole. That will leave the complete...

    Thru-Hull location help?

I'm designing my new FF/GPS Radar and settled on the Simrad NSS 12 EVO3. My problem is I would love to do a 1KW thru hull Chirp Fishfinder. The Transom mounts are huge and with twin outboards I dont want to have isses. QUestion is has anyone placed a thru hull? Boat is a 265 Express. I'm...

    Where to mount VHF Radio?

I highly recommend the flush dash! I am thinking of flush mounting the radios in the overhead as well for the same reasons.

Lobster pot puller addition Grady offshore 24

I added one off the T-top works great for 75 lb crab traps. Might be a little overkill for lobster pots though. If you drill through the gunnel the one you show mounts to the deck with a pass thru sleeve. Should work fine.

Looking at a 265-what to look for, opinions, etc

I highly recommend the cutting table on the back. I put in two 0 Deg rod holders that way I can slide it in and out.

    F250 Case of missing Oil?

I was hoping someone could help with this head scratcher :hmm I just had my motors serviced in February and today on a long run from port my starboard motor threw a low oil pressure light and I went into limp. So I promptly checked and yep oil was nonexistent on the stick. So I added the only...

    Shore Power Tripping 265 Express

After putting the boat back in the slip I am having an issue with the shore power tripping. I have had this problem before but usually after playing with the cable connections it stays on. Today nothing I did worked. I even tried plugging into a different dock box connection. So I changed out...

    Towing the Marlin

Nice boat and trailer set up. I noticed that you have a brake-rite E/H. Those things work great. However, a word of caution. Do not let the accessory battery die. The whole system goes down. I.E. no failsafe brakes. I know because I HAD the same system until I went to tow home and brakes were...
