I have to change my bilge pump switch and I would like to use the original style and quality of my oem switch. I saw a post a while ago stating the manufacturers name, I did a search of the forum but couldn't find it. My boat is a 1982 225 Tournament.

Both of my seats self destructed this season due to their age. Is there a direct bolt in replacement for them? My pedastels are still good, just the plastic seat is shot. Thanks in advance.

Has anyone used epoxy as a clear finish over mahogany? I am trying to find a finish that would last longer than an oil. I plan on replacing the teak strips in my Tournament with some mahogany that I have.

I am currently looking at an 82 225 Sailfish w/o a hardtop. If I buy the boat I would like to install a used hardtop. My question is would I have to find one specific to that year or would I have a range of years to choose from? Also would any reinforcements have to be made? Thanks in advance.

I am getting ready to do my transom the way you did yours from the inside. Looking at the boat the other day a question came to mind, after you cut through the battery boxes and the transom well were you able to remove it in one piece or did you have to cut it again to get it out?

I have a Garmin gps/chartplotter/depth finder.Sometimes when I use the trim tabs the gps will turn off. Is this due to a voltage drop when the trim tab pump starts? The boat is an 82 223 Tournament and everything electrical on the boat works. What would be a fix for this?

Looking at a Garmin unit that has gps,chartplotter, and a fishfinder all in one. It sells for 539.00. just looking for some feedback on that unit seeing that it is the first gps that we will buy. Also what type of transducer should we get, a transom mount or a hull mounted one? Thanks

I am installing a stereo in our boat and I am using a weatherproof enclosure to put it in. I want to make it removable so I would need a plug type connector for the wiring at least a six pin ( power,ground, two speakers). Anyone know of a good source for this?
