232 Kicker options and brackets

Hey all.
Been just loving my 232. Great salmon fishing boat and great family day boat. Absolutely love it!!!

My 232 had 1/3rd if the starboard swim platform removed and used to have a kicker on it. I think I'd like to get a kicker back on so I can reduce the hours on my mains.

will a Yamaha 9.9 be enough to get me from 1.5-3mph?

what mounting brackets options do you suggest to go right on the transom?

Hey Bird Blaster,

I have a 228, and a 9.9 high thrust.

You will have no problem trolling at those speeds. I usually go between 1.5-2.5mph trolling.

Sorry I can't help you on the bracket.

+1 on the high thrust, the gear ratio and larger prop will have no problem pushing that boat(and I also have a 232).
