Ok guys looking at getting some new props to replace the OEM ones on my 2004 265 express with twin yamaha 225 4 strokes. Not a lot of info out there on the net. I am just hoping for some advice to get me close to dialed in. Want to try and get it correct on the first set and not have to keep going back and forth with different props.I run mostly in the ocean off OCMD up to 60 miles out with a starting weight of about 9000#. I am thinking about Powertech OFS4 4 blade 17 pitch maybe 18 pitch or Quicksilver Q4 17 pitch. I been talking to Ken @ PG just seeing if someone has some data from the same set up and can assist. Thank you for any info.

What pitch 3 blade is on there now? 17 or 19?
My old 2 stroke 225 yammies had 19 pitch

Powertech OFS4 4 blade 18 pitch sounds about right for start. Maybe 19.

My 200 zukes have 4 x 15.25x 22

So with the OEM 3 blade 15.5 x 17 I am at 6000 RPMS WOT @ 44MPH.
So I am no prop expert but thinking going with a 4 blade OSF4 15.25 x 17 might be the ticket? Extra blade and .25 less OD puts me in the same ballpark? I am not looking for speed or hole shot just more bite to stay on plane at low RPMS in the snot.

Subscribed, have an 01 with 200 HPDI’s. Hoping 4 blades will give me some stern lift and improve my cruise fuel burn.
Anyone running 4 blades on this set up
