This past weekend my love well and salt water wash down stopped working. No funny sound or anything so thinking it may be a fuse. Does anyone know where the mainn fuse panel is and also where the pump that runs both of these would be located?

Thanks

Does the 265 not have the push button breaker's right above the respective rocker switch(es)? That is the design of my 2006 228 and my old 2001 228. Those have to be replaced from time to time. They can be easily tested by removing the panel.

both pumps are located under the rear deck panel next to there respective seacocks. To replace them will involve unscrewing and pulling up the panel then re-caulking it. If you really hate yourself you can try swapping them out through the small access hole provided, but good luck. The fuse panel is located under the dash panel on the starboard side where the Yamaha gauges are. There should be separate fuses for each pump. I find I get about 2 years out of each pump before I have to replace them. Access to them is a real pita. there is another member on here who has put a hinge and gasket on the rear deck panel to make access easier. Hope this helps. you can also download the owners manual from the Grady site which has some more info including plumbing and wiring diagrams.

Here's the Grady fuse info and their location- I would have sent the pdf but the site doesn't allow uploading them.

That was me (hinge in aft deck). Cost me a ton but the glass work looks great and the ez of access is huge. I am swapping those pumps out frequently too. I use my livewell a ton and it just craps out - a 40 dollar part.

The washdown gets used a lot too but i think the saltwater eats away at it. I did figure out how to make an attachment and will flush it with freshwater / saltaway when i can.

I bough my last washdowbn pump from west marine and got the extended warranty - already swapped in a bad one and walked out with a new pump.
