2nd helm seat for 330 Express

Installed this on my 330 — very easy DIY on the starboard side because you have access from underneath from the live well. I put in an inexpensive Garelick 9” pedestal that only swivels.

The seat is an mid-tier Taco Marine that’s no longer made — I have arms for it too butI bought them separately and unfortunately Taco didn’t pre-insert the T nuts! (So going to try stainless threaded inserts instead of taking the chair apart!)

I probably should have gone with the 12” pedestal — I may raise it up a bit with rubber mounting spacers.

but very excited to try it out this season — will mean a buddy can help navigate while running and also swivel around and get a great view of the spread.

Port side has a small built-in cooler under the factory seating, so putting the chair there would have made that inaccessible. Also it makes the starboard side even more nap friendly cause you can stick your feet under the new chair.
