Looking to repower a 330 with new Suzuki 300's. Curious to see if any members have done this and looking for any and all feedback, performance #'s, etc.

Thanks!

Not 300s, but, Put new DF250s on my Marlin late this year...30hrs so far. They are quiet., powerful and fuel efficient......time will tell on reliability

Guy behind me had a 330 with twin 300s on it. He had nothing but good things to say about the motors. I think the biggest thing is making sure you can service them locally.

Thanks for the feedback. I am familiar with Suzujki's. I repowered my 265 i the spring and have nothing but great things to say - my dealer/service is literally 10 min from my marina. Now that the 265 is in contract and i'm looking to move into a 330 with F250's, i was curious to see what the feedback is.

I have a single 2008 DF 300 around 1250 hours has been an awesome motor. My next motor will be a zuke no doubt and every trip routinely run 60 plus miles one way with a kicker.

I just re-powered my 2005 marlin with 300 Suzuki’s. The Yamaha F250’s were great motors, and I was somewhat reluctant to change because they have been very solid and reliable. Never had an issue with over 1500 hours! However, I‘m looking forward to a 100 more horses when running to the Abacos and the fly by wire. I also expect to get slightly better fuel economy while running a couple of knots faster. I’ll report back. .
