5 Gallon oil tank switchout on a 306, anyone do it?

Want to switch out the standard 2 gallon Yamaha oil tanks with the 5's. Anyone else made the switch on a 306 Bimini. Looks to be enough room for them.

I thought the standard tank was 3 gallon?

I think they are 2.5 gallon tanks .

I made the switch years ago. No problem. In fact, the new tanks will fit in the old tray. The new tanks are a little pricey though.
