I added some 1/2” sound absorbing foam to the 2 hatch panels for the Gen space. It definitely quieted things down a bit. I’m going to build a Dorade box behind the 2 vents for the compartment. A lot of noise is coming from those vents.0EFD0D3C-CA0F-480D-B208-987687B9C7A7.jpeg91F55EAC-23F1-4617-8DD9-B7465A16DB7D.jpegB2F55831-F0F0-4660-B3B6-A000F16A3138.jpeg

Thanks for sharing! Might do the same!

did it simnifically dampen the sound? I dont generally use the generator much (4.2K FP), but the other day I was using it at a quiet anchor and found the sound quite annoying, specially the humming sound it brings into de cabin area.

It definitely helps, but you can still hear the Gen set.

They are loud even with the quiet pack enclosure. I'm sure this helps but the constant noise is a bit much.
