auto-tether ?

Anyone see or use this product yet? www.autotether.com I saw this at the hartford ct boat show and there was also an article in soundings magazine.Seems pretty good for those of us that may go out alone or even not i suppose.Thoughts?

I am think very seriously about getting one this year. Search THT - some posted some first hand info on it. The device could save your life.
