Direct replacement for Guest remote spotlight on 1998 Gulfstream

My Guest M100 remote spotlight on my 98 Gulfstream seems to have broken. It sounds and feels like the gears or friction plate have broken inside the unit. Before people start telling me to use a handheld spotlight I want to be clear that I am looking to replace this unit with another remote spotlight. Seems like they do not make the M100 anymore. Has anyone done an easy swap with a unit from another company that still uses the existing switch and toggle at the helm? Thank you in advance.

Looks to be a like mounting pattern, pretty expensive options though.

If it were me.
- I'd remove and seal the old holes well. You can sand them down and then put a dab of a good caulk on them for good measure. The goal is to ensure no water penetration into the core.
- Mount the new one with quality hardware.
- Find a lower cost alternative like Jabsco. Below is about the most inexpensive you will find.

Get the LED GoLight Stryker. awesome light. Wireless remote. Tight 12 degree spot beam. It won’t light up your foredeck. I junked my big Jabsco light for one of these. 5 year warranty. My son is in Navy Special Warfare. He said thats all the Seals and Coast Guard use on their rigid bottom inflatables.

nice light for sure. a bit rich and probably not a direct replacement (same mounting holes) though.
