So, I'm kinda new to boats. I bought a 2001 escape 209 a few months back. I was told by the previous owner when I bought to the boat that the OE tank had been replaced with a 30gal poly tank. I plan to make some longer runs offshore in the boat; so i called florida marine tanks (after getting the part# from grady) and got the oem 82 gal tank.
The tank just arrived yesterday (see attached photo).
Does anyone have a step-by-step guide to properly installing the tank (and replacing all the requisite hoses, fittings, etc)?
Im relatively handy around cars and mechanical things. (I have rebuilt the engine in my integra.)
I'd like to do this myself if it is feasible but I am not above taking it somewhere if that is needed.
The last thing I want is to be offshore and start leaking gas everywhere. <inset fire emoji>
