This is a bit overdue, but back in early October I had the Fell Marine kill switch installed. I was able to get a test run with it before putting the boat away for the season. it worked as advertised, and gave me no issues. it synched and never "accidentally" killed the engines while under way. to test it, i walked up the dock with the engines idling and i needed to be about 20 ft past the front of my boat for it to kill the engines. This is good because i was concerned that it may cut off if im up front messing with the anchor. i have the wrist band to put the fob into. my only gripe is how hard you have to push the button on the fob (through the wristband) to initiate the sync. overall i am pretty happy.
looking at how simple the install was, i could have very easily done it myself, but i got a very fair install price and the guy came to my house. it was also an "audition" to see if he was going to become my marine electrician for some more involved jobs.
overall i am very pleased with it and really like the product and its operation. its a great concept. ill try to remember to update this once i get back in the water in the spring
