IMO the striker series is for little guys in CCs and bass boats.

Why get the same thing you already have? You have a nice rig. You'll be running to Chicken Canyon for tuna before long.
Step up to something bigger and better...touchscreen.... Maybe a 943xsv?

Certainly you want side vu in addition to cv. Side vu is great for finding wreck and rockpiles.

Get an All in One transducer that has a separate down element like a GT51

IMO you don't want "uhd". Garmin is really taking the echo series toward shallow water bass boat fishing with the 1200khz sidevu.

All that said, I might be selling my Echo94xsv (2018 model with buttons) and GT51 transom mount ducer this spring. I'll make you a good deal.
I got a 1242xsv Touch to install...

I have a simrad go9 unit and it works great.
Touch screen and ez interface for my un-millennial brain.
hodges marine has them, see link
If your running out of jersey defiantly buy the
Navionics platinum+ card for the charts for Jersey.
