Help...I'm trying to find out fuel consumption on a 1998 272 Sailfish with Twin 225 Yamaha 2 stroke Saltwater series?...All the specs on Grady's site are for 4-strokes or HPDI....?

PM me your email address. I have have a file from GW on the performance specifications for the Yamamha 225 2 strokes. Same as on my 1998 Sailfish.

I had twin 200 OX66 on mine. I got 1 mile per gallon at 3500 rpm,23 mph. Replaced them with 200 hp HPDI motors, with the same props. Now getting 29 mph and 1.8 mpg at the same 3500 rpms. A friend with a 272 and 225 OX 66 motors is getting the same results as I got with my 200s

I get 1.5 mpg 3600 31 mph on my 272 '98 with twin 225 OX 66.
On a flat trip to Bimini about 75 miles pretty well loaded with people, gear, ice, food & drink to be self sufficient for 5 days I burn 45 gals. Key word here is Flat.
