Looking for ideas for a kicker motor & bracket for a Adventure 208. I like the idea of keeping some type of swim platform.
Most likely a Yamaha 9.9 4 stroke

Have the fixed kicker bracket on the starboard side (keeping my swim grid) and am now in the process of moving the the second battery over to the port side for balance. Had to move fuel filter, wash down pump, and wiring. I should be fairly crippled by the time I am done as it does require a LOT of pretzel moves.......but I am winning!

What fixed kicker bracket did you use?

Just bought the Adventure Marine high thrust kicker bracket and am going to buy a Yamaha 9.9 kicker motor.

Question which length shaft to get 21" or 24.6" for a 97 208 adventure?

The longest one they make. Just make sure when mounting the bracket, if you do it your self, you get the bracket high enough to clear the water when the kicker is raised for running. You will find you will have to cut out a notch in the bracket for for the trim tab actuator.
