Had a great weekend. Went Scuba Diving on the Queen Annes Revenge, BlackBeards Ship discovered 1 mile offshore near Beaufort Inlet. Took an extra day and took my GW Tournament 19 from Beaufort up to the Hook of the Cape. Great Calm Day. Followed Markers and Charts and still managed to hit bottom 4 times. Easy to get off the channel. I went to the cape via the Ocean and came back vie Harkers Island.

Also made it down to Morehead City. That whole area is a boaters paradise.

This was my first time at the shore in my boat. Until now I have been testing it in the local lakes near Greensboro.

I plan to take it to Carolina Beach later in July with the whole family.

I highly recommend cruising this area.

You're right. Vacationing in that area is great. I owned property in Ocean Isle Beach and we spent many summers there. Good boating and fishing, great for the kids.
