Installing a swim Platform , Any tips tricks are advice??

I will be trying to install a swim platform soon, and was wondering if anyone had any tips are advice for me.

I will be installing most likey by myself as well....

Get a pic of one mounted up on a sistership, and find out where it's thru-bolted. I'm pretty sure both bolts (upper and lower) are above the battery tray. And I think the bolts are about 2-1/2". Get dialed on your hardware and some 5200.

I did not notice what boat you have. If you ever plan on adding a kicker motor on a outboard bracket, you may want to mount the swim platform on the port side. If I recall correctly, the starboard side wants to lift on single engine outboard boats when accelerating or running at speed (from "prop torque"). If you mount a roughly 100 pound kicker on the starboard side this will cancel this need to use the trim tabs to level the boat. If you mount the kicker on the port side you will exaggerate the need for tabbing down the port side while under way. When I bought my last boat (used) I discovered this problem almost immediately...
