I used the livewell for the first time in years for anchovies. It kept the bait alive for the 40 mile ride. Midway through trolling for albacore the bilge pump started and stopped after a bit. I discovered a flap of loose sealant at the top of the livewell. It was 2" wide. It was slopping water into the bilge.
What have people used to reseal that tank? I can see it becoming a very messy job if I try silicone sealant. I need something stiff that will not droop when applied. I'd appreciate any guidance.
