New Cabin Rod Holders. What do you think?

I saw a concept like this somewhere and ended up making a prototype and then routing this one out of plastic. Approximately 15.5" Tall x 9.5" x .75" HDPE. SS hinges. I still need to add some bungee hold downs...but I am pretty pleased. Keeps the rods off the floor (away from kids feet when they hang out in there). Holds 6 rods.

Wouldn't work for me, all my rods are 7' and 7'6", they just fit laying on the cushions and the tips up against the anchor locker wall. I can't even use the ones that are in my cabin already. I keep my bait rods in them, shorter.

Yeah...8'+ rods. 2 Piece. Trolling on Lake Erie. Downrigger Rods. No chance of them going in without coming apart.

Oh yeah. The rods are Fenwick down rigger rods. Amazing rods. But...yes...2 piece. 8'+ rods.
