Penetrol for faded fiberglass

I have read here that Penetrol can help restore the gloss to faded fiberglass. Some have quoted it as "marine" Penetrol. Would that be different than the Penetrol found at paint/hardware stores? The containers appear to be the same. Just wondering.

I don't think I would put it on fiberglass as it is not that difficult to buff the glass back to shiny and when it begins to wear off, will look blotchy. I have used it on the "Plasteak" and the rub rail with good results.
