I'm looking to repower my 94 GW 272 and was considering twin honda 150 four strokes... Not sure if I will be under powered??? There's a HUGHE $$$$ difference from 150's to 225's. Currently have twin 225 suzuki two strokes (99). Have to repower and don't want to under power nor over spend $$$.

Any thoughts :hmm

onoahimahi, thanks for that info.. impressive!!!! I've been hearing good things about the E-TEC's. I been looking around and hope to find some left overs for sale (lighter on my pockets  ) was'nt sure about the 200's until now.

Food for thought :hmm

I've got the 200HOs which are the big-block V6s - same block as the 225 and 250 HP. The 200HOs are reported to be tuned for 219 HP. Evinrude also makes a small block 200 HP which is the same block as their 150 and 175 HP. There are three sets of 200HOs at my club but none of the small block 200's so I have no first hand experience with those. They are lightweight - close to 100 lbs lighter than the big blocks.

I've got 17" Rebel props on my rig which may be borderline underpropped. I think the 18" Rebel may be ideal.
