Looking on Advice: To Repair or Replace?
I have a ‘98 22ft tournament and the deck access plate that covers the 10 gallon water tank had got softer this year. I pulled it up before it was going to be wrapped this week so I could deal with it over the winter. The yellow fiberglass bottom section is separating in the middle area from the upper exterior white fiberglass decking. Plywood in middle is rotting. It is 23 yrs old so not unexpected.
Has anyone had experience with with either repairing or replacing. What might it cost me to fix vs replace. I realize will not match original decking. If I go the repair route, any good videos on how to Do it Yourself? if I try to take it somewhere to get fixed where should I look and what questions to ask.
Dimensions are 53 x 25.
