I was wondering with my boat 1997 272 sailfish with T225 2 stroke yamahas , Is there a gauge or indicator that would allow the user(me) to see exactly what the angle or degree the tab is in. I have a gauge on the trim of the engines but sometimes when under way, someone will move and I am not sure if I go up or down?

Peter, if you don't have specific trim tab gauges you can still make adjustments on the fly easily by remembering that when you put a trim tab down, you will get "lift" in the back end on that corner. So if folks move over to the port side and it leans that way....putting the port trim down or the starboard trim up (if it were already down) should balance you out. You should start with the trim tabs level when you leave the dock so you have a reference point to begin with. Otherwise, your trim tab manufacturer should have a gauge available for you to install......probably around $200
