In 13 seasons with my Pursuit DC I put the complete enclosure on during the first season two or three times that was it. After that everything except the bimini and the walk through canvas went into the basement and never came out again until I traded the boat in for my new 275 last month. The walk through canvas is great to have on a cold day and the bimini is very helpful but in the way when flycasting so it stays on the dock unless it is a family day.

As some of you know I am purchasing my first boat. In looking at used 225s I noticed that the Vista enclosure with aft and side curtains had been used infrequently or not at all by the prior owners. It seems that a simple Bimini top would be all one needs except for serious weather outings.
All thoughts appreciated.
