    Yeah, I have been playing around with that idea. I have the foam and have been looking for a self adhesive gasket material that would run around the perimeter to make more water tight. That is most likely the cheapest route. Thanks for you suggestion.

    Behind the panel was the only place I had not checked (primarily because of the amount of screws to be removed). I hope to find the GSD and Network there as the wiring from the units heads in that direction. Thanks for the heads up.

    2005 33 Express. Garmin 8212 with radar and sonar and VHF is integrated. Radar has a ERROR 6 warning which Garmin says check all cables and attachments. All installed prior to purchase 18 months ago.
