The galvanic isolator is a set of back to back diodes. They are used to isolate galvanic currents and keep the ground continuous. Use a multimeter on the diode setting and check forward and reverse. Be sure to disconnect all shore power before testing.

I'm running the 2 microns on a pair of Yamaha F225s

I have been running 2 micron filters for the past 4 years without problems. They are rated at 60GPH so not a problem with restriction. Everything stays clean.

Mine were group 27, but I replaced them with Group 29 to get more capacity. This required replacing the trays.

If you have anything running such as a fridge, you will need to have a switch on or the appliance won't work. Hopefully your bilge pumps are wired properly and you won' t need the switch on for that.
