i have a 205 2006 with 150 yamaha we love the boat have a 208 prior to this we boat out of chatham ma. i'll pick the days but we have taken it to nantucket and fish around monomy rips etc as well as the local beaches ...never been on a 228 but in looking at them they seem to be a 205/208 hull...

on my 1997 208 i had a plastic tank...on my 2006 205 it has an aluminum tank ....i always thought the plastic tank was better...why would grady use a plastic tank on one model and the same hull use an aluminum tank?

thats the reason i asked..a dockmate has a GW 205 bowrider...and they come with the supports plus it looks like it would be easier to fold the top back instead of leaning it foward thanks

the measurement of the size of a boat seems to differ from marina to marina and manufacturer to manufacturer....I was orignally told they based it on the registration and title...which follows the manufactures paper work...the manufacture doesnt include the PB in their measurements...fun...

can you post some pictures...sometimes the manufacturer will leave a string or additional wire that can be used to pull through the new wires...if not you may need to tie and tape (black electrical tape works best) a couple of wires to an existing wire and pull it through, use one of those wires...

I have a 1997 208 Adventure...can anyone confirm if the railing is one piece or multi pieces?...the reason I ask is I may have to remove a pulpit and railing as my association marina is bent out of shape that the pulpit adds to the length of the boat instead of going off of the manufactures...

Hi I got a left over cockpit cover that was never installed i have all the snaps and a handheld install machine. My question is how far apart are the snaps and how far in from the edge are the snaps?...if anyone can take a look at theres and let me know that would be great thanks

well i got the radio in the mail its one of those new small round Jensens that fit in a 3 inch guage hole..evidently it has a built in memorie and doesnt need the yellow wire to be powered all the time...matter of fact it only has a red and black wire! thanks for the responses

What are folks using to connect up constant power to a radio so that presets are not lost when you shut off the main battery switch?...looking for a solution other then running a wire from the console to the battery?... Thanks
