ANYONE change raw water head to FRESHWATER??

i've an'02 marlin.
i run it in the Chesapeake Bay.
it'd be a lot nicer in dat head w/o Bay water!
anyone done this conversion??
any hints or help appreciated.

Saltwater and Wastewater go together quite well. Unless you discharge the tank frequently, you may want to reconsider going to fresh. If you run far offshore, 1 less Thru Hull to worry about is always a good thing. To answer you question, I'd suggest tapping into the freshwater washdown behind the helm chair....if you can reach the connections. Detach all plumbing from the Seacock and lock the the Seacock closed.

I thought about doing this on my Sailfish. I didn't, but thought at the time it would be quite simple. Follow a newer Marlin schematic. I think you would need a one way valve in-line so that there is no chance of the "fluid" going the other way...
