Thanks. Real fuel burn numbers forthcoming. $$$ ???. Yes, 4' Furuno, 2 12" NavNet3D displays, auto pilot, Genset, Lee Side Winder outriggers. 300 hours on the motors. Yamaha is replacing flywheels and (at least for now) will replace them every 300 hours.

Yes. This is my 3rd Grady but my first twin engine ride. I'm sure there is a learning curve. And she twice as heavy as My Journey so maybe I'll be less affected by the breeze around the dock, we'll see. Already planning a trip to Martha's Vineyard this summer. Lot's to look forward to!!!

That is a great looking boat! I am hoping to reserve a slip on the Vineyard this summer for the fireworks in August, I will have to keep my eyes open! I hope that will just be one of many Vineyard trips next summer. Warmer weather cannot come fast enough!

I work with a few guys that would not have been quite so kind to that deer, incredible story!

I just noticed Grady installed your swim ladder on the Starboard side!!!! Great for swimming and NOT having to tell people "don't step on the hydraulic steering lines or the Yamaha cabling when you swim."

Is your hull bottom or hull sides balsa cored?

I believe GW uses balsa coring on the sides for strength and weight but not below the waterline. Check out the Gradybuilt section on their website which describes the construction.

I believe all the "walk through" models are now configured this way. Probably for that very reason.

Did the deer make out okay?

We left it high and dry on a secluded beach to rest after the ordeal. He would not have made it much longer had we not found it. Heading out with the current. Tried to just leave him in shallow water after towing him in but he couldn't stand and just floundered. Dragged him to shore after beaching the boat. Warmed him up with some towels and got him to stand on his own after a while. He seemed happy.
