does anyone have a overnighter with i/o

i have a 350 with a 5052/17 ss prop,boat will hit 3300 rpm on flat water i was told it should be 4000 to 4400, and :hmm i should change to a 15 pitch wondering what others have

I had an IL6 in an overnighter.......I would defintely say something is wrong if your only hitting 3300RPM's w/ a 17" prop.

That boat should do alot better than that. I am hitting 4400 turning a 17" prop in my 24' Offshore.
