Grady nameplates hazy....anyway to unhaze them?

My cabin flag decals (the blue streak decal) are faded. Grady has cabin flags available. Separate from the cabin flags are the nameplates. The oval that has the model number on it. They are no longer available. Mine seem to be hazy or almost frosted. Anyone have any ideas on if these can be restored?

I have the same issue on my boat...'97 Voyager - curious what the answer is....

Light compounding will bring them back but be careful not to tear up the edges. Best to do it by hand.

acetone

I tried acetone when I saw it posted here and it worked

Shurehold buff magic is great. Acetone is good but only for cleaning.

No,No, acetone, sorry, denaturated alchohol, acetone will make it fade.
