The leaning bar/helm seat assembly on my 283 has a 2 inch rubber molding all the way around the bottom that also serves as a kick plate. After 9 years, in the areas where there is an inside radius, the 2-sided tape holding the mold in place started to separate. I pulled the entire molding off with considerable difficulty because in the remaining 90%, the original 2-sided tape was still working great. That is tough stuff. The original piece can be reused but is cut to exactly the correct length so there will be considerable strain in these same areas, especially as it expands and contracts with temperature changes. Any suggestions or recommendations for what to use to restick the molding back in place? Thanks.
