I recently opened up the port and starbord navigation lights and found a little corrosion on ends of bulbs keeping them from coming on. I am getting ready to replace them after cleaning.

Does anyone reccomend putting a dab of vaseline or something similar on bulb base and contact or will this cause problems when area becomes hot from bulb being on.

Thanks

I got tired of fighting that problem.

You can use dielectric grease, or you can replace with LED lights (not just LED bulbs).

Attwood bow lights match the original footprint and screw holes. I recommend the 2nm model, even though the 1nm is legal.
